My Family and I have lived in Loveland for 34 years.  My wife, Teresa, and I have 3 boys (Scott, Peter, and Tim) who grew up, went to school, and played sports here.  Peter and his wife, Stephanie, have two little boys with their third, a girl, on the way.  I really enjoy being a grandfather.

Government is of, by, and for the people.  I am running for council to work for the residents and for the future of Loveland.  We all need to be proud of Loveland again!

We will promote the image of the City, not just in words but through our actions and with respect for others.  We will keep a balanced budget so we can stay focused on the basic services our residents count on, such as safety and infrastructure.  We will continue to utilize budget discipline and clearly define our outsourcing process to increase the cost effectiveness of city services.

Most importantly we will drive to gather and use resident input and involvement.  I will be inclusive.  This input will be critical as we look to our future.  We need to review and strengthen the charter and update our master plan. This will be done by holding neighborhood information sessions, encouraging open communications by making an annual legislative calendar available,  involving residents in key committees and holding open dialog sessions, especially when it comes to future developments.

Empowering the professional staff to do their job and engaging the residents for their input and concerns are fundamental in returning Loveland to “Ohio’s Best Hometown”.
